Cheryl Cole to reveal all – Jamie Tuohy

It has been announced today that Cheryl Cole will reveal all in a tell-all autobiography, after she signed a deal with publishing giant HarperCollins worth £395,000.

The book deal will see Cheryl penning her life story, chronicling her rise to fame with Girls Aloud, her marriage breakdown with Ashley and her X Factor experiences. While the news might cause ex-husband Ashley a few sleepless nights, her former boss Simon Cowell needn’t worry about the 29-year-old singer divulging too much about their tempestuous relationship. Cheryl recently said that if she ever wrote an autobiography, Simon would be lucky to even get a footnote.

Carole Tonkinson, the publisher for Non-Fiction at HarperCollins has expressed her delight at securing Cheryl’s story, saying:

Cheryl Cole is the nation’s sweetheart. We are absolutely thrilled to be publishing her story.

Cheryl’s an amazing woman with a capacity to inspire everyone. She emerges from every challenge stronger and with more grace and good humour and beauty – inner and outer.

We’re still pinching ourselves that Cheryl chose us as her publisher and we’re going to do everything in our power to make this the Christmas number one

The book will be Cheryl’s first official autobiography, with numerous unofficial declarations of her story floating about. The Call My Name singer previously released a picture book in 2011, entitled Through My Eyes, which saw Cheryl sharing some intimate and never-before seen snaps. Securing a number 1 has become second nature to Cheryl and her first autobiography is sure to be a best-seller. Put me down for 3, please!
